Your hosts, Ray and Trish Winter would enjoy the opportunity to share the Safari Lodge experience with you.

They are both born and bred 5th generation Southlanders and have three adult children. Ray and Trish share a love of Southland and look forward to sharing their local knowledge of the area.
They will ensure you receive friendly assistance with bookings, tourist attractions and information about Invercargill, Southland, Stewart Island, Fiordland and New Zealand.

Ray and Trish lived in Mozambique for 5 years (1999 to 2004) and returned to New Zealand with a large African Art collection which is now displayed at Safari Lodge. They traveled extensively through southern Africa and they say that every piece in their art collection has a story to tell.
